CDX & Reading Levels
CDX provides multiple learning pathways to cater to different learning needs. Meeting the needs of today’s students, the primary communication is video, with text as a supporting option. CDX courses also use simulations, illustrated step-by-step guides and text to ensure students have the best possible chance of success.
CDX basic automotive theory written materials require grade 9 reading levels, and advanced theory topics are covered at reading grade level 12. CDX uses video to demonstrate step-by-step procedures, supported by illustrated guides with an average reading level of grade 8.

* The Fleisch Reading Ease calculates how easy it is to read the document. The higher the score the easier it is to understand the document. The Fleisch-Kincaid Grade Level provides the writer of the document with a value that indicates the minimum education level required for the reader to be able to understand the document. The lower the score, the easier it is to understand the document (scale is 0 to 12).
